I am looking for a Blackberry which will be the most suitable option for my needs. Firstly it needs to work in Europe, and Japan. I want to use the wifi in airports than whipping out my Laptop to surf the net use VOIP and emails etc.

other things I would use are Making notes and use of calendar scheduling voice recording if capable, basically I want something thats businessy more than fun, or I would have got an iPhone, I have an iPod already so won't need a music player.

Anyone have any recomendations. The touch screen one is out cause its too expensive and I like the buttons on the others. Also if anyone has critisms of Blackberry's will also be welcome.

What other questions you need to ask me, is there a better alternative??

  • dont know about other networks, but i know t-mobile blackberrys do not work in japan, this is due to japan using a different type of data network (over my head sorry) so i would check with network provider that the phone will function in japan.
