We bought a new LG TV from John Lewis a few weeks ago, and the deal was you got a free Bluray Disc player. However they still haven't received it back in.
What is the legal implications with this - can we do anything about it? If JL eventually say "sorry you're not getting it" are we stuffed?
I did ask if they could substitute it with another model - even if we made up the difference in the value, but they didn't answer my question.

We got the same deal at the end of last month and had to wait a couple of weeks and we received the disc player no problem.
I can't say anything about legal rights but John Lewis are very good with their customers so I would of thought they would honour the deal you made.
By the way the disc player we got was a Sony.0
