Hi,
We're looking at getting a breadmaker because I'm allergic to gluten, but I need some advice on which is best! Any suggestions?

I've never used the gluten free mode on my Panasonic SD254 but it does have two pages of info/recipes in the instruction book which you can download and have a look at from HERE.
It has recipes for the Juvela and glutafin mixes, also Sainsbury's Free-from mix, plus basic gluten free recipes.
A quote from Coeliac Uk:
"There are many types of automatic breadmakers on the market and some have specific gluten-free settings.
We suggest that you contact suppliers of the special gluten-free flour and bread mixes which you prefer as they may be able to supply you with information on using their mix in a breadmaker.
"
Good luck. Hopefully someone will be along soon who can give you advice from personal experience.0 -
Hi,
My mum is Coeliac, and uses the Panasonic SD254 with great success. She used my SD255 last week with the same results.
I must say, her bread actually looked appetising when it came out. Which is saying something for GF bread!!!
