Hi all
About to order my food for delivery, but Ive just hit a brick wall with my menu planning.
To be honest, Ive done to death all the same meals and Im getting sick of the same stuff week in week out. PLus with the weather getting hot, I cant handle dense heavy food, but i dont really like salads
Weve been making the follwing stuff
bangers & mash
casserole
HM burgers, wedges etc
stirfries egg rice/ noodles
pies made with left over chicken
enchiladas
chicken & chick pea curry
we try to have at least one veggie meal a week, this is fine & i have loads of ideas for this.
We have a slow cooker
Im happy to spend an hour cooking when I get home from work
We have a budget of no more than 25 pw inc cleaning & toiletries.
OH has cholestrol probs so only the leanest, best meat is used & he cant have cheese or eggs
HELP ME PLEASE!!

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

I always struggle to eat in the summer over the last fews years I overheated completely, and this means I just dont fancy anything. thing is I was single then, so I could get away with a bowl of cereal in the morning adn a couple of pittas & hoummous for the rest of the day, but I just cant now as OH is a growing lad lol
I call it my summer diet. Not particularly healthy, but I cant really decide what else to do.
i need to give it more thought I think, maybe one more week of the same old, and I'll look back to this thread this time next week! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Here's some summery dishes we like:
-quiche
-baked potatoes, HM coleslaw and cheese
- spanish omlette
-whole smoked makarels covered in peppercorns (serve with new pots, or salad or oven chips...)
- meatloaf
-HM pizza (use bread machine to make dough on timer whilst at work)
Just a few ideas, hope they helpMe debt free thanks to MSE :T0 -
