To all you MSE'ers who helped me out last night! THE DRESS HAS ARRIVED!

After a fraught couple of hours onto Fedex this morning (who thought the dress was stuck in Paris) the dress just suddenly appeared at home.

I have posted a link to said dress. The one we ordered was black though.

I cannot thank you all enough for your kind words of support, encouragement and even offers of dresses. You have saved my sanity on more than one occasion and I can honestly say when the chips are down you lot certainly rise to the occasion.

I am off now to lie down in a darkened room

    That dress is beautiful - I hope your daughter has a wonderful time. I remember my prom - I wore a purple satin dress I'd bought from Dorothy Perkins that I'd saved up for with my Saturday job cash. Funnily enough my OH was there (although we didn't really know each other back then) - I all these years later we finally got together!

    I know what its like when you are waiting / relying on a parcel to come through on time. I read the prom thread and felt for you.

    I am chuffed that it has come through in time. Just when it all looks a little grim the "gods" smile on you.:beer:
