I've just been offered a job that would allow to pay off my debts with a pretty good montly repayment. Right now they're in an overdraft and credit cards so it makes sense to get a much better rate now I'll be back in work.
It's a fixed term in a government job. I could pay off the debts in full within the fixed term period. Would my bank be likely to consider me immediately or do I need a wait a few months?
