A delivery man managed to draw on my front door with a blue biro... I haven't tried to clean it off yet as I know you often only get one chance with biro marks. Anyone know of a method that works?

Try a product called, barkeepers friend, I think Sainsbury's sells it0

Try some UB40. I read a post recently that it could be used for all kinds of stain removal including pen marks. Sorry I cant find the link now. Milk removes pen marks from leather, it may be worth a try.The time will come when you have everything but time.0

I think you mean WD40 - UB40 is an 80's band.

mayonaise.
sounds odd but work's. the last people who lived here stuck a sign to our front door with celotape and i couldn't get it off. that was over 5 years ago. anyway my neighbour suggested rubbing mayo on it then wiping off with a a clean cloth and it made it sparkle. fab stuff.0 -

The hairspray and WD40 lightened it so its much less noticable.
Will have to visit the shops tomorrow for the other recommended items!
