George Osborne seemed to be having difficulty answering any questions... no matter what was asked he went off on a tangent.
The one about his inheritance was funny mind you - he looked absolutely lost for words. I did like his defence to Yvette Cooper on why they wouldn't back the stimulus package inrelation to job centres, citing that they had shut them all down last ear and were now looking to allocate extra money to open them back up again. As for the job centres actualy providing help - I don;t think so
Hislop was funny, however I don't think he was making many political statements, more highlighting the hyprocrisy of the other guests.
And the Lib Dem woman - what planet is she on? She was asking why the Tories wouldn't approve a retrospective referendum on the Lisbon Treaty. GO was trying to say that they would hold a referendum on it if they had that power, however, since they didn't, they couldn't as it would be ratified before christmas. She attacked him saying, "Well you can't hold a referendum as you're not in power" and he was agreeing, but saying that there should be one, and she was getting all confused and accusing them of not holding one, despite in the next breath saying that they couldn't. Hilarious and bizarre, what a numpty.
Saying that, looks like we're stuck with the Lisbon Treaty now - shame on Zanu Labour (for lots of things, but this too)I'll have some cheese please, bob.0 -
