Have a look at https://www.ukcampsite.co.uk - answers to everything you can think of re: camping and a very friendly forum as well.
As you'll be eco-camping presumably you'll be electricity-free.
You'll need - a tent - obviously!
Something to sleep on - airbed/camp bed/self-inflating mattress/roll mat
Sleeping bags, pillows, fleece blankets
Something to sit on, fold-up chairs are good & go in their own bag.
Something to cook on - I have a campinggaz twister single burner, a campingaz partygrill, a Trangia meths burners complete with pans, also disposable BBQ's are very good, Lidl sell them for peanuts - obviously I don't use all the stoves at once - just adapt to the situation!
Pots & pans, cutlery, plates, mugs, bowls.
Bucket with a lid - essential in my opinion if you don't want to trek to the loos in the middle of the night in the rain to the toilets!
Plastic bowl, wet wipes, plenty of black bags.
A light of some sort, Campingaz lamps are good and give off a little bit of heat as well if the evening is a bit chilly, but be very careful in the tent with it. There are loads of lights about to choose from.
Have a look at some of the camping equipment websites for info: there are loads of them, just Google for them.
Good luck,coffeebean0 -
