Well they came today and will be going back to the Next shop on saturday :(
They are much 'yellower' in RL, on the back of one of them the fabric is puckered already, which means they will probably look rubbish after a very short time wearing them. The strap across the top is very hard and very step would dig into my foot (even tho I have very narrow feet) Sooo disappointed :(

Oh no, what a shame. Don't give up the looking, at least you can take them back. Dont give up, I am sure the perfect shoes for you are out there somewhere. x

Thanks, I was soo excited when the package arrived, can you imagine how much my heart sunk when they were quite 'dark' ivory, but thought well at least they will fit (which they did) but then I took two steps and the strap dug right in (Oh to be 20 again and happy to wear shoes that look fabulous but kill my feet :D)
:rotfl:Ahahah got my signature removed for claiming MSE thought it was too boring :rotfl:

LOL!!! I hate that heart sink feeling! Even if I was 20 again then I wouldnt be wearing shoes that hurt on my wedding day. Need to go comfy, not glamour - have too many!! I might still check them out to be sure but sounds like they arent what I expected either. Will keep an eye out and let you know if I come across anything that may be suitable by any chance.

  • Mark Sand Spencer :D do half sizes, and some of the styles would surprise you.

These are what I got! Wanted a bit of sparkle when they peep out from under my frock (it was them or hot pink doc martens...)

Thank everyone for trying! I have been visiting M&S on a weekly basis as their 5 1/2 fit like gloves.

There seems to be quite alot of the pointy ones around! Could you go to a bridal shop that does shoes, try them on and then try and find them cheaper on line?

Yes, I noticed that the 'pointy' look is in, I look really really silly in 'pointy' shoes. I will try the idea of trying on and then looking online. My feet are narrow but with a high instep, so often a wide fit is more comfortable (yes I'm odd!!)
