I have 3 books that date back to 1940-50's all relating to the wool/textile industry, can anyone recommend the best way to sell them so I get the best price for them?
Thank you

Old books can be worth a fortune if they are in the public domain.
You need to find out if the author is still alive "highly unlikely"
Then find out when he died. "it needs to be over 70 years ago."
If this is the case you are perfectly within your rights to reprint or re publish the book, make alterations and even claim it is your own work.
My father is doing a roaring trade turning old self help books/manuals, post cards etc into new products and selling them online.

He talks about it loads on his blog and has even written a book about the subject.
Hope this helps0
