I'm planning a charity fundraising event in Enfield, North London and want to invite some party planners/demonstrators from companies (eg:Partylite, Jamie at Home etc) to have a stall and sell/give demonstrations.
I've contacted a few companies and am waiting to hear back.
I'm especialy interested in Jamie at Home (who've I've just emailed) and Chocoholics (who've yet to tp reply to an email I sent a few days back but I'm not holding my breath as they were dreadfully unhelpful and abrupt last year
)
If anyone has any ideas I'd really appreciate it!
I'd like to build up a list of different party plan companies, I've tried google but it just brings up events coordinators

Hi Louisa81
Stallfinder is a good start
I'm a Body Shop consultant - we sell gorgeous products especially this time of the yearYou could give The Body Shop at Home a call and they will probably give you a list of Body Shop consultants closer to the area that you may contact
The contact no is:08000 92 90 90
Good luck with the event - sounds great

If you are interested in having a jewellery seller there you can search on miglio's direct website to find a consultant in your area. Just google the company name and you will come up with the link. I don't think I'm allowed to post it here.
Quite a few of these advertise on Stallfinder too.0 -
Thanks everyone- sorry for the delay, for some reason I didn't get the usua; "you have a reply" email.
I've had a lot of interest and have some great stalls lined up.
Still have 2 spaces left if any consultants are interested?0 -

Have a look on www.partyplantogether.co.uk or www.stallfinder.co.uk
they should have many of the party plan reps near to you . Alternatively try www.netmums.co.uk , they also have a list
Good luck , and hope your event goes really well0 -

I know this is an old message but thought it deemed a reply on behalf of Chocoholics.
I have been a Chocoholics distributor for many years, unlike most companies we don't get overly excited when we are asked to attend fundraiser like you describe because they just do not work for us. The problem being is that we do not carry stock and most people want to buy there and then. Invariably I would turn down a request to attend.
I am in the business to make money and our actual sales period is limited to two fairly short periods. We are absolutely inundated with people wanting house parties or wanting to do brochure sales.
I did in the early days attend a couple of fundraiser Macmillan type affairs despite being advised not to. The result was a loss of approx 5 hours with only £100 of sales. Invariably people get a little offended when I refuse to attend their fundraiser because they think as its charity I should want to attend. They forget that its my business and the reason I am doing it is to earn money.
The same applies to Old peoples home, you are considered a form of entertainment for the old folks.
So please do not be offended just remember we are in business to make money as its our livelihood. We also work very hard often working in the region of 90 hours a week.£2.00 Savers Club = £34.00 So Far
+ however may £2 coins I have saved in my Terramundi since 2000.
Terramundi weighs 8lb 5oz0
