VSmile or VMotion

Hi Everyone

looking for a little advice - want to buy my 3-year old son either the vtech smile or vtech vmotion console for christmas but unsure which one is better?

Anyone have any recommendations - which has better games for his age etc.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks guys

This probably isn't very helpful, we had a vsmile when my daughter was about 3, she never liked it at all, if I had the choice now I would go for the motion, just because it seems easier for children and there are less wires. My son who is now 3, would like this I think, but instead of paying out for the v motion plus games we are just going to buy him his own control for the wii, they do games for kids, they do peppa pig, diego, Disney cars, bob the builder etc. I know the games may be slightly trickier, but as long as something is happening my son will be fine.

I've just had the same choice...we opted for the v smile for our daughter she's almost 4. Just because it seems more educational, the motion does look good but i think its more gaming whereas the v smile is the best of both.

Plus the new model of the v smile has the microphone on so its a bit different and you can get it in pink or blue.

Good luck with the choice :)
  • I have just got my little man the Leap Frog Click Start for Christmas. My grandson( who's the same age!) got one for his birthday and loves it. I had mine from Home Bargains it was £24.99 and games were £1.99, usually they cost about £40 and games are £15 :j

Ended up going with the vsmile console as Argos are currently selling it for £30 instead of £40 and i used the web-site Clairelg88 suggested and bought some games as well.

    Thanks very much
