Oooooh! I like the look of this dine in - some new items which sound tasty.
I was hoping there would be one this weekend as we're heading off to a lodge for october school week so a couple of these will come in handy.
Has anyone bought the chicken & ham pie? Is it family size??
Me thinks a stop off on home from work....!0 -

Chicken and Ham Pie was actually 2 small pies, and definitely not enough to feed a family.0 -
Definitely not enough to feed two people either - VERY disappointing.
I too was very disappointed, we had the Cook Menu Haddock Fillets with Patatas Bravas Cakes yesterday and not only was it VERY tiny portions, it actually tasted of nothing, just watery. Yuck.
The chocolate souffle's were basically glorified chocolate mousse in a ramekin.
Wont be buying this deal again

Sold out in Hudds - Waterloo - because they'd run out of side dishes...0

I love the meal deal best when it has the Oakham chickens! - otherwise it depends on what you pick, but can still be a fab deal - this time round I got 2 deals, got 2 pommes dauphinoise on the basis its a bit of a faff to make from scratch; got the meatballs which i have tried before - and if you put some garlic bread with it as well as pasta it will feed three. Got the lemon pudding, enough for 4, and is gorgeous; and also the apple & blackberry tart, and the haddock in cheese sauce. Got the pinot grigio, which is lovely wine, and normally this alone is £6.49 per bottle.0

Had a look at this yesterday and the portions in the "cook" range looked small. The SA said that this time the deal was not so popular as there were no whole chickens available. I said really!!!
Look out for the price reductions tomorrow as this meal deal didn't sell well, at least not in my local branch.0 -
Just the smelly sprouts/ carrot/ etc bags were left here....what a surprise.
Same...and main meals consisted of Haddock or meatballs. Was really not very impressed and didn't bother in the end. Haven't been disappointed by their meal deals before, but I guess there's always a first time!
On the upside, they've got some other fan food deals - 3 dishes for £5 (including bangers and mash, macaroni cheese, etc) and some small pies (which are very tasty - had a chicken one last night) for 3 for £3.0
