  • Can she not change her mobile number? I have a thing in my phone that I can activate to only accept calls from a list. Withhelds and numbers that are not stored in my phone are not accepted. I deactivated my answer machine too but this is something I have always done as there is nothing worse than someone leaving a message and you have no credit to listen to it!
  • About 2 years ago we took out a secured loand with the above bunch of crooks. Up untill March this year I have to say I cannot fault them. they were helpful, all was organised quickly and they really did seem to do their best.

Put EVERYTHING in writing to them, send everything recorded or special delivery, and get some advice from one of the free debt counselling organisations.

    Lin :)
You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)
  • If you cant afford to pay for special delivery you can ask for a "certificate of posting" for ANY letter or mail you send, it proves you posted something, even though it does not prove receipt by the other end, and the post office are very helpful at finding things that are "claimed not to have been received"!

Agree, if insurance sold with it and not paying out you could well claim that.

If you have to phone make sure you have a reference number of name to refer to and write EVERYTHING down in a diary (a contemporaneous note - scares people that you can provide the date and time of a call ), also you can check on your itemised phone bill for numbers if you cant remember when you spoke to them.

Poor you, really sympathise. Good Luck, could you not swap mobiles with Mrs., and you can also inform them you are recording your calls and then use mobile to record (most now have voice record).
