help need advice on my loan plz!!!

i have lowered my payments from 200 to 100 pound a month while unemployed. but i put my money in my bank account tuesday to pay for my loan and i've got my statement up on the net this morning and they have tried taking £500 pound out of my account with no letter or phone call to inform me of this.
my question is what can i do now and is this a breach of contract.
could i cancel the loan because of the breach.

any help will be gratefully appreciated thanks !!

If you have formally agreed with them to reduce your payment to £100 then ask them to stop and refund any charges or extra they are trying to take.

I think expecting them to cancel the loan is a bit optimistic at this stage!

    Good luck

I can't see as it is any more of a breach of contract, than your OWN breach of contract.

You agreed to pay £200 but have breached your own agreement by now paying £100.

They agreed to take £200 but have tried to take £500.

The only difference is that you at least had the courtesy to talk to them first.

Communication is the key at this stage as Rafter suggested, talk to them about returning the extra.
