I phoned them up and they took my details. They did try at the same time to sell me an offer of buying 3 magazines for the cost of a pound. But I declined. He said thank you for calling, your free issue will be with you within 10 days.

Just applied. Had to answer 2 questions to see if I quallified for the free copy. Q1 is the first 2 letters of the county I was born & Q2 is, do I have an interest in fashion and beauty :rolleyes: hmmm, let me think........

CS rep did try and get me to take the next 3 issues for a quid, but I said this was my first time trying Marie Claire, so I would rather decline till I had read the mag.

Me too, but I couldn't remember the postcode letters of the county I was born in 'cos the postcode's changed! Do hope I get it (spoke to a very nice man so should be fine)

I spoke to a very nice man too, same questions...he said "yes, I know it's not exactly rocket science", but I took up the 3 for £1 offer, as I think it's a good deal - and you always get free sarongs, flip flops, beach novels etc with the magazine over the summer anyway...

Any indication of how long this is running for? Can I phone in 3 weeks and hope to get the July issue?

And did they tell you which issue you will get (I have already bought June issue!)?

I got the details through in an email yesterday.

It states that it is open to the first 10,000 and the offer closes on 22nd May. The email says that it will be the latest issue and has the June issue pictured.

Also did the 3 copies for £1... Its basically an introduction to there subscription, but you can cancel it after the 3 months !
