    What make is it?
I bought one from Lidl a few days OK £19.99 BIFINETT. Which work great.
Mainly it depends on what functions it has like timer delay, fast bake, recipe booklet etc.

  • Oooh I don't know! Hmmmm, not sure whether to go for it or not. I suppose I could go and look at it and then if it's not right then don't buy it.

What kind of things should I look for?

Depends upon what you want it for. A recipe booklet is a must, as you can then adapt recipes designed for this bread maker.
Some breadmakers come with only a few functions such as white bread, wholemeal bread and dough, but the more up-to date ones have express/fastbake option that will give you a loaf in 1hr 20mins - 1hr 55mins.
    A guarantee would be nice.
But really for £18.00 you can't go far wrong.
    Good luck

    Absolute bargain!!!
I'm sure you'll have a great time with it. There are loads of recipes on the net.
I often use a mix of white and wholemeal for my white bread, plus adding some sunflower seeds, sesame seeds etc for a bit more texture. For rye bread adding some caraway seed, fennel seed and orange peel give wonderful flavour.
