"This [house price slide] has ended, but not as I would have expected" said one former STR buffoon.

Wow, but if HPC are throwing in the towel, I think we can all agree that its over.

Yup - keep hanging on. Prices should be up 10% over the next year.

I think its fair to assume that those that are hanging on are in it for the long haul.
Prices will go up, but will fall again - Ie double dip. Its going to be a long wait though!

Yup - given that there was 15 years between the start of the last two crashes, I'd imagine its going to be a very long haul indeed

I'm lost for words tbh, the greed is out of control. I hope none of you have children because this country is going to be one BIG prison from now on. The government have bailed out the banks with our money because of loose lending and we are just continuing as nothing happened? The debt is going to take many generation to pay off and we are still borrowing... Can none of you see this or is your new imaginary wealth distorting your thoughts?
No wonder British families are flying out of this country in their masses. The only way to live a reasonable life in this country is to be really well off or to sponge off everyone else in benefits and its ever increasingly the only way to own a home. Nothing for the middle of the road unless you just happened to own a home before 2002 before it turned into a business. I guess thats why immigrants are travelling through all the other countries to get into ours.

Why not join the discussion on HPC, and you'll find plenty of other folks who will moan about how unjust life is?

See what I mean? A programed sheep. Totally oblivious to what is happening aslong as that individual is OK. Not a care in the world about any other human living or to live apart from themself and his/her lifestyle. This is how far we have disintegrated as a race in such a short space of time.

Hey, theres still food and water to go at.....
