If it was not noticeable when it was given to her why was it more noticeable when she had to give it back?
Was it just a small amount, why did she not notice she had been overpaid.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

How do you mean "take it back"? How could they take it back out your account? I'd say the normal thing would be to deduct it from your next pay packet. I'd probably expect it all to be taken at once unless i've been getting overpaid for an extended period of time and the amount to be clawed-back is now very large.
The matter is now resolved, your daughter had the money to return (presumably she hadn't spent it all and became overdrawn when they took it?), it wasn't hers. What's the problem?Sealed Pot Challenge #239

its quitecomplicated, she started a new position as a supervisor, she got payed her additional hrs and her new salary wages for the supervisors job so she did'nt think she had been overpaid and to be honest she still thinks she has'nt,her friend who also started the same job as her said she thinks she had been payed too much, she told the manager said he would take it back the next month.i told my daughter to get toa statment of him stating -amount paid
-amount due
and amount overpaid and if you have been overpaid it should be at an afordable amount as acas told me.they have done none off these and took an amount of 243 gross off her in one go without warning. please excuse my spelling0 -

i presumed that when the OP said 'take it back' that the emplyer had deducted out of her wages.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

that's not technically true, but is good practice. have you done the sums yourselves to see if she has been overpaid? your first post says she was, but then a later post says you don't think she was? it's quite easy mathsI was born too late, into a world that doesn't care
