want somewhere nice for quick lunch Belfast city centre

Hi folkies - looking for a quick suggestion for lunchtime on Thursday - city centre. Im Bedford Street direction but can get up to the city hall area. Have done The Apartment, but would like somewhere nice for a friends birthday - any thoughts?!;)
Feel free to thank me, it makes my toes tingle and my ears go warm :T

Cant think at the mo of anywhere to recommend SM, but Id steer clear of Cafe Vaudeville. Very pricey and not great, you need lots of "extras" to make it look worth eating IYKWIM!
But having said all that, the restaurant nearly next door on Avoca is supposed to be very good, I'll try it next time.
Oh, what about deans Deli? Im sure being in Bedford St. youve been there aleady tho@

I'd recommend Avoca - both the food and service were great. I've only been there once and didn't pay, so I'm not sure of the prices! Enjoy your celebrations wherever you go!

I was just coming on to recommend Avoca as well :) would recommend booking though if you're thinking 1pm as it can get very busy. Although they do have a less formal eating setup at long tables which is a good backup

If you can make it to cathedral quarter, the Cloth Ear and the John Hewitt are also good.

I'd recommend Ten Square. Near to Bedford Street and food is always good there in my opinion.

Ginger, in Hope Street, do a fabulous lunchtime menu. Visit www.gingerbistro.com for menu and location. It's about two minutes around the corner from Bedford Street.

Another vote for Ten Square. Food is nice and service is normally quick.
