Toysrus do a 16" doll in the "You and Me" range for £9.99

Not sure link is working . Try typing in doll 16"

I think the knitting pattern matches TT but I can only find that for sale at £25.00. I think Mini Roby might work. I assume this has a soft body unlike TT but it will not make any difference ? Thanks.
  • I think Fred Adolphus crafts in Manchester used to sell plastic dolls for dressing. Try a search online for to see if they still have them.

I found it under Fred Aldous in Manchester. No dolls to dress-But I had a great time reminding myself about craft items I have used.

Try looking in The People's Friend magazine, classifieds - there's usually an advert from someone that sells plastic dolls. I've thrown away my mags so can't give you the address.

I know there is a very big arts and crafts mail order company that sells every imaginable type of doll, I used have all their catalogues, unfortunately I can't remember the name at this very moment. It might come to me later.

It's one of those companies that delivers to schools, nursing homes etc as well as for the public and the prices are usually cheaper than normal.
