i have spent £0 so far dh will buy a paper,onion and a loaf on way home so guess £1.50 not bad when we used to spend £5 each!!

Floss

£7 - £3 on an M&S Cashmere mix sweater & £4 on a pair of Dolcis suede mules at my local charity shop. Thats all my clothes shopping money for the month gone!

BUT I then spent £17.79 in Asda on the way home from work (why do they build supermarkets on the way home? I treat Asda as a corner shop!) which should feed me & 18yr old ds2 for the best part of 7 days after I've made some bread.

did take my purse today thinking someone will do a colection for our line manager who is leaving but no one is, so my card will have to do (brought weeks ago)

Went to discount warehouse place for a nice notepad so spent £1 on that and also bought a pack of shopping list pads for £1 and two packets of biscuits for the office for £1 (they were Cadbury chunky choc chip cookie ones...delicious!!)

So £3 in total today.

I like this thread - I need to rein in my spending, been a bit mad recently...ended up having to take cash from my savings to pay the Credit Card bill - not happy with that. Especially not when we're planning to buy a new house this year!

Anyway:

Smoothie and newspaper at work=£2.20 (a small smoothie - rip-off merchants, won't be doing that again).

Groceries from Londis: onions, teabags, milk, bread and cheese £4 (not exactly the high-life for me today!) Londis is more expensive than the supermarket, but it's on the corner so: no petrol used getting there AND if I go in for milk and bread, that's usually exactly what I come out with whereas I usually leave Sainsbury's or Tesco with random, unnecessary stuff.

No spend day tomorrow is on the cards!
