Does anyone know if this is included with the goldie?

I know a previous post said a nail file was included but that was £4.xx, is this the same thing but just cheaper online? I so want this to be included.

It sure is hon, but it's £6.00 in store  - so you'll have to pay the extra £1.00. ;)

Not sure if I have missed something here - but what's with all the posters with 'magic' in their user name, all just joined in October, and all spreading the luurve?!!!

Yeah, and they all love Sally...

I'd noticed that too:rotfl:i've no idea who they are, but it's nice to know I'm popular:rotfl:
  • Thanks for the post, Sally :T.

Managed to hunt down some R&M lipsticks and lots of points along the way!

    xx

I don't mind paying £1 for a useful stocking filler :D (certainly wouldn't pay even £4 for a nail file and buffer) - It is super cheeky of them to price it at over £2 cheaper online, that's over 30% cheaper! I had an attack of indecisiveness and couldn't decide between that and the compact mirror, except the mirror would be for myself not a stocking filler.. I got the mirror then went back later and swapped it for the nail file!

My boots trip went a bit wrong.. I lost my goldie somehow but I needed lunch (meal deal) and some waterproof mascara (£2) so I just bought an extra snack to get my goldie, phew! ..Went to the machine, no R&M voucher :( Nevermind, I'd still get £2 points from the mag.. but whilst queuing I couldnt see the magazine so I asked, the SA came back and said they didn't have any, so I decided to still get the nail file as £1 is good value. Hmph.

Also, I had a look at the R&M bit and everything else was priced except all the lipsticks, are they all reduced or just some? If just some, how do you tell without asking for a price check? Sometimes I'm too shy to ask.

I shall be back when they have mags + lipstick! They won't know what's hit them :D

Thanks every one for all your help!

I am posting on this thread as I can see some regulars from the old boots thread are posting.

You may remember that Mimi1234's Dad was having treatment for his illness. Unfortunately his Dad passed away 3 weeks ago.

I know that Mimi was very grateful for the support you all showed him and I am sure that he will be on to thank you when he feels up to it

Thanks Melgirl, for taking the time to let us all know, it is much appreciated.

Please give my sympathies to Mimi and all of his family. I know what a devoted son he is and the poor love spent so much of his time and energies in caring for his dad and praying that he would recover. Sadly it was not meant to be

I hope that it gives Mimi some comfort to know that he is well loved and missed on MSE and that there are many caring people who are thinking of him, at this really painful time in his life.

To dear Mimi, good people like you are never forgotten and you are sorely missed. Take care. xx :heart2:

so sorry to hear about mimi's dad we were all saying a prayer for him, I lost my dad 2 years ago now so I know how he must be feeling. I really miss the chats we all had on the old thread.

Your very popular Sally! That R&M find was like a glitch of the century. Just off to cook dinner....tinned mince and tatties! :D

    The lipstick one?
The one I posted about the make up bags was even better so I thought

The lippy one is better, in my opinion, if you get the 750 points acm voucher, as it can be used along with the 250 points mag voucher, and a goldie, to get 2 lippies for a total of 50p and 1000 points every time you do it :j.

Can't you just use the goldie and 750 points acm on the make-up bags ie not the 250 points mag voucher too? Or have I been skim reading this thread again?

With the make up bags its not costing you anything and you could get 4 bags with using the goldie and still get the 750 points.
  • Melgirl..please pass on my condolences to Mimi, I was so sorry to hear the sad news x
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.
