I am going to be in London on Monday evening and would like to see a show (Les Mis or Phantom preferably). Can you get tickets on the same day at a reduced price, and if so would it be from the ticket booth at the theatre?

Thanks in advance.

Anybody used TravelZoo before? Will the tickets still be cheaper at a booth on the day? Thinking of going at the end of Nov.

I'd second that, BUT be sure it's the genuine one, a lot claim they are official, it's the one right on the bottom of the green patch.

Look at http://www.tkts.co.uk/ for an image and also they list whats on and what sort of discount you could get (as they can't say what they have until the morning) and if it's worth taking the risk when you get there, or buying them at a lesser discount but being sure you'll have the tickets.

As an example Les Mis tonight was £34 a ticket instead of £59. The do some advance booking but not for LM
