Thinning hair/Hair loss in males

Hey guys, I'm sorry if this is the wrong sub forum,so apologies in advance (moderator, please feel free to move it to an appropriate forum).

I turned 23 a few months back, and have noticed that over the last 3 and a half years or so that the hair on the top my head thinning (centre top just a bit above the forehead). I still have plenty of hair round back and sides.

My hair has become so thin, my scalp can be seen... it has becomes extremely evident under a light or sunlight, and is now starting to make me feel self conscious. I have actually purposefully grown my hair to try any cover up the area, but as my hair is so thin, any hint of wind just blows my hair and reveals the area (haha! :rolleyes:)

I was wondering if anyone had any positive experiences with hair products that either helped thicken or strengthen hair. I have heard about Perfectil (which was originally a supplement for nails and skin), but it seems quite costly in Boots. :eek:

I have never bought supplements or health products over the net as I hear stories about fakes floating around, so does anyone know a reputable online pharmacy or health retaile that offer legitimate but cheaper products?
