Sooo, I dont really have an idea of what I want to do, so was hoping if I list my current experiences/likes/hobbies, then someone might suggest something...
Experiences;
Have worked with general public since I left school, in various forms ( cafes, pubs, restaurants, retail ( food and pet )
Have set up and ran own business (from scratch)
Have worked in Office (Office Secretary)
Have also acheived Supervisor in a Bar situation
Have done Call centre ( but hated it)
Likes
Like working with people (customers others) but on and one to one basis as much as possible
Love animals, and I probs will start my Business again some time in the future, but not right now
Like investigating things, finding info etc
Hobbies

try animal related entry level jobs??
although unless you have the relevant animal care qualifcations i extremely doubt they will hire you and pay for your training.
Your best bet would be to look into public jobs like working in museums, travel agent, airport jobs... ect
Or could try retail but at supervisor level.0 -
I'd make an appointment for a careers guidance interview with Nextstep; they'll be able to discuss your options with you and help you improve your jobsearch techniques. Their services are free.0

Nextstep...who are they?Kent Bird!:beer:0 -
One option is to use your call centre experience to move on.
Housing Associations have call centres, less pressurised than the commercial ones, and often have training opportunities.
I've seen many people move on to management or other jobs within the organisation, such has housing officer, working with disabled/older people, admin roles etc depending on skills/interests.
Good Luck!0 -

Nextstep are a publicly funded organisation who offer face to face careers guidance to adults. You can often contact them through the JCP but, if you don't mind giving an indication of where you are, I can get you some contact details. Their service is free and their advisers are all qualified.0 -

How about dog sitting/walking business. People go on holidays and may need a dog sitter. It's a low start up cost and you get to work for your self.0
