Gross salary £24,558
Mortgage required £86,500
Property price £92,500
Deposit £6,000
Credit card debt £7,100
Loan per month £145 (ends Sep 07).
Northern Rock when he rung to speak to an underwriter told us that they would not take into consideration my debt on my credit card and said with a medium credit score they didn't see any problem in lending me the money.
(Experien credit rating 844/1000)
Is this right that they definiately don't take into account my credit card debt?
I just want to check as I'm a little stressed with it and I would just like to be reassured..
My mortgage advisor didn't think there would be a problem.
Thanks for any help..

No, Northern Rock do not make a deduction for credit card debts so the info you have been given is correct.
