    Thanks- that's really interesting and gives lots of new ideas for meals. Still - I am sure there are some on this board that could give her a run for her money - £25 a week! That's the OS luxury budget!! - :rotfl:

    I did post this yesterday.

    But the £25 is only covering 7 main meals a week and not an entire days meals.

    So to me it is not quite as frugal as it seems.

    Thanks for posting that, it was very interesting. I am trying to save money, but am not on the breadline and do like to spend money on food. That was an interesting link because she cooked some interesting food, not just endless stews etc. Being a foodie and budgeting is not easy! Organic meat and good quality ingredients are not cheap and are not often on BOGOFs (unlike crisps, cakes and ready meals which seem on permanent special offer in Tescos!).
