Please don't take the following post the wrong way. I almost didn't post it because it doesn't answer your question but I feel really quite strongly about this cos... well... read on!
It's only my opinion too. Nothing more.
Really.

PLEASE don't buy one. They make the worst coffee. I'm not saying it to be a grumpy s*d but cos they are awful. I've had two (I sent the first one back because I thought there was something wrong with it, it tasted so bad).
You are much better off with a 'real' espresso machine. You have a full choice of coffees and they are cheaper (the coffees and often the machines too).
As a rule, steer clear of any capsule system that sells a capsule which includes whitener. My logic is, if you really loved decent coffee, would you make one and put powdered milk in it?
If you do still get one, I truly hope that you love the coffee and it brings you massive happiness! But don't get one!!
hope you read this in the spirit that it was intended (he said feeling really defensive!)

I ordered some coffee cups today from the nestle website using the points collected from inside the capsule boxes.
LLWe are all in the gutter but some of us are looking at the stars........................0 -
Costco did have them for around £50/£600

We have one (as a result of a buzz campaign!) and we also have a "proper" coffee machine. My daughter finds the Dolce Gusto easy to use, it's quicker than the proper one for my OH, and they seem to love the coffee.
I don't drink coffee myself, so can't offer a personal opinion, just not looking forward to running out of the capsules we have! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
I do not agree with the negative comments at all.
I have bought other coffee machines in the past and they are either too messy and time consuming or just not up to scratch.
I liked the design of the Dolce Gusto, so thought I would give it a bash. The coffees are all delicious, the Hot choc is gorgeous and its so quick and easy to use with hardly any washing up. there is a special drip tray for the pods to sit after use so they wont leak into your bin.
We have had three now, a couple broke due to being used on a daily basis several times a day by my partner, Pods may seem expensive to some but they are £3.30 for 8 drinks which is around the cost of 1 Starbucks and in my opinion just as good.
With the machine you also get a nice cappuchino cup and saucer and a lovely tall glass Latte cup. when you buy the pods, in each box is a code that is entered once registered and you save these up for extra cups, pods etc and just pay postage costs.
Keep your receipt and places like Argos exchange it for another no probs, and you also keep your cups of the last machine for obvious reasons.
Alround fabby machine, I would highly recommend to anyone and they are also bringing out Skinny pods soon too.............. so I will be able to drink them now more freely. lolI Can resist everything, except Temptation x:o0 -
Is this the one that looks like a robot dog?0
