HI folks
I am thinking about purchasing a laptop and have been looking around for a while for a decent one but also for a good price.
I would value the opinion of those amongst you who are more expert in this field than I am.
I have found this one on the DABS website
http://www.dabs.com/ProductView.aspx?Quicklinx=4LJ3&CategorySelectedId=11012&PageMode=1&NavigationKey=11012&InMerch=1
Would you please tell me what you think.
Thanks in advance.
I hadn't quite got that much to spend but would have seriously looked at this one as reviews state Acer customer service (if you ever should need it) is pants.

That is a first class laptop. Terrific price too. Acer customer care is not fantastic I admit, but I can't say any of the others are that impeccable either...What I do like about their laptops, is the excellent screen quality - it's as good as a Sony Vaio. I have no hesitation in recommending it.Have alook at Tesco Direct they have a 7520 for £399 gives you a similar spec but also a 17" screen. Although it only has 80gb HDD

DDs want to have a pink laptop and I have spotted this on Comet for £799 it looks a lovely job but am wondering if anyone has seen it cheaper anywhere? Or if there is an equivalent pink (must be pink!!!) laptop does not have to be such a high spec as this. Thanks in advance me heartys!0

Wow, that's hideous.
The Dell on the far right is available in pink. Select it and go to "Customise" on the next screen, and you can add the pink colour (plus a built in webcam) for £78. Expensive for a colour, but it's still cheaper than the Sony you picked out, and overall, slightly better spec too. ETA: Actually, all of the Dells on that page, except the first one come in pink if you ask for it.
This is also apparently pink. Looks black to me though.0 -
Wow!
at 400 quid that's a steal at that price, ta very muchly am most grateful!
Will ring before I order though to make sure it is pink thanks again mate.0 -
