Co-op Q reg cheques

Hi
I have overpaid on my electricity and iam getting paid via cheque

I have got cheque deposits envelopes from the co-op but there is no branch near me , there is a post office logo on the envelope so am i right to presume that i can pay the cheque into the PO ?

Also....will this be viewed in my bank acount by the people who have delt with my bankruptcy ie LILLA ?

    Yep you can pay into any post office.....takes a while to show though usually 7 days or so to clear

    can anyone see the credit? usually no....but any change in finances the AIB usually should be told..

    Sorry to jump on your thread worriedsik. Does this mean you can withdraw money from post office with a co-op account??

    Yep you can with your co-op cashcard & pin.....or indeed withdraw from any bank ATM showing the "link" logo..

    yes and also you can put some in through the po ( in the form off cash ) too lol not that i will be putting much in

    Did you get a paying in book in your welcome pack from the co-op?
    You might need to use a slip from it to put in with your cheques which you then put in the envelope and hand to cashier at the post office counter.
    You can use your card to pay cash into your account.

    I post mine in. I use the following address (as specified by the COOP) though as the only trouble I had was when I posted a cheque to my branch.

    Cooperative Bank PLC
    Blaise Pascal House
    100 Pavillion Drive
    Brackmills
    Northamton
    NN4 7AR

    You should write your sort code and account number on the back of the cheque.

    Thats the address I use and I have pre-addressed envelopes from the Coop. You can order them online.
