Can anyone recommend a driving instructor in the Belfast area?

I have decided to finally learn to drive, but as all my friends, and even the people I work with learnt to drive years and years ago I can't go to any of them for a personal recommendation.

Anyone on the board learnt passed their test in the past couple of years? Who did you learn with and would you recommend them?

abba driving school - that who I went with although I live in lisburn so probably different instuctor - my guys name was dessie and he was great - i passed my test with 12 lessons.

Try Doak school of driving as i took my test which only took ten lessons for me to pass first time and bearing in mind that i never drove a car before.

I found Doak to pretty okay.
