What a truly fantastic day!Thoroughly enjoyed it! The shows and everything was amazing, and it was really great to see the likes of Lewis enjoying his car, and his time on the track rather than concentrating on winning a race for once! Thanks OP0

We had a great day too. May even turn it into a profitable one too, anyone got any idea how much a Mercedes poster of Jenson Button signed by Ross Brawn would fetch on FleaBay?
I'm surprised you MSE'ers didn't run over to the huge Tescos just the other side of the car park for 79p Take-away coffees and no queue!0 -
WOW What a great day! Had a really lucky day meeting Lewis, Heiki and pedro de la rosa. Ross was signing when lewis was out but wasnt near him, Got my picture with lewis and heiki and autographs of them all. My other half even wants to go to the british Grand Prix now (if there is one)
Thank you OP0 -
a big thanks to OP for these.
We are really struggling for money at present and struggled to find the cash to go but thanks to my parents helping with petrol money we drove the 400mile round trip.
Was great to meet De la Rosa, Anthony Davidson and Ross Brawn. Got the autographs and would NEVER dream of selling them no matter how skint i am. It was an honour.
Thanks again OP for a wonderful day. I know i dont post very often but this well and truly deserved a mention:beer:

Had a fabby day too, also noticed that noones tickets or group sizes got checked. Really loved seeing the 'silver arrows' doing their thing as the 1st time I was in the grandstand but then moved to the wet circle where the view was awsome. At one point I went round to the tents where the F1 cars were being wheeled out from, I was at the barrier and got royally squashed against it by some French dude who tried using my shoulders as an arm rest (I know I'm short but really!) when the car was being pushed back, but a kindly pit man saw and made a point of standing back so I could get a nice photo and the guy behind me eventually got the hint that I'm not a piece of equipment lol.
Awesome day overall OP you're FAB0 -
i had a great time yesterday too! Went with a group of friends as we had all won tix hehe. it got so cold by 1pm that my fingers and toes were hurting even though i had gloves on etc! Thank you for the opportunity on MSE to go there =D0

Great day but so cold!!
Nice to see that Mercedes-Benz World didn't try and profit from the free event by charging for parking or programmes. Shame the food outlets didn't feel the same way; £5 for a burger, I don't think so0 -
Yes a fantastic day, really well organised and run with German efficiency!! Great to be able to see and hear F1 cars without having to pay hundreds of pounds for the privilege. Big thanks to Mercedes Benz World for doing it all for free (altho' next time, please supply more food stalls!!!!) and BIG thanks for the original post, am so grateful! :beer:0

Thank you again to op
As my daughter was on Crutches yesterday we got to park in the Hospitality car park , At 9am we walked in , again no one checked our tickets . My youngest Daughter got to drive a A class Merc as we was one of the first in.
Then we walked straight into the Mercedes building , Lewis walked straight past me and smiled as he was doing a interview in a room there , then Ross Brawn walked over , he shook our hands , signed my daughters book and we got a pic !! Also saw Hekki and a few others. So glad we got into the building as it was cold and my daughter could sit down , Food was nice too. We could also watch outside .
Fab day !!!!0 -
We, too, had a fab day! It was a bit nippy weatherwise and by 3pm we were all pretty cold, despite wearing numerous layers. My son was fortunate enough to get autographs and have his photo taken with Ross Brawn, Anthony Davidson, Heikke, DC and Mika, and I had a conversation with DC (swoon!). Louis was whisked past when we were inside the building, and he smiled at us and said 'Hello' which was great, although we never got close enough to get his autograph during the day. Fortunately, we'd decided to take our own sandwiches so didn't have to queue for food, but a hot drink would have been very welcome if only the queues hadn't been so long.
Eternally grateful to Sarah1972 for posting the details in the first place. Thanks to her, my son had an unforgettable 21st birthday! :T0
