Free Formula 1 Event at Mercedes World

I missed this completely which is a shame but I just wanted to say that if you are taking children to this event, especially under 7's PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE get them some proper ear defenders for the day. We went to the Renault thingy and they had last years F1 car going around Silverstone for a few laps at a time and it was very, very loud. There was lots of little ones that were absolutely terrified and babies that were screaming their heads off. Once there it is too late and other than coming home and it will ruin your day to get all that way and find your kids do not like the noise - so please get them before you go.

Peltor make some funky fluoresant ones for around £14 and you can buy them online. You can buy cheaper ones but I prefer to know I am getting a good make and you can get cheaper ones on eBay but my kids have had Peltor for about 5 years now - I put them on when they are screaming at me but they do not like that very much!! Does shut out a lot of noise though, it will not make it totally silent but it muffles the noise and they can still hear you clearly if you talk to them close enough.

Finally got my e-ticket through today can't wait and it says I can take up to 4 people even though I only asked for 2!

if anyone has any spare e tickets for the event would they kindly donate to me please as applied on line for tickets to take my 13 yr old son who has done well at school as a treat and foolishly told him about it but now today found out not accepted.
