Spitting feathers here!!
Curly's latest reply is :- "The Racecaller offer on our site always had an expiry date like all other offers.
It is an oversight on Racecallers part that the league is still being published and we have asked them to remove it."
So with no notification either on Pigsback or Racecaller they have cancelled their "contract" to award points as monthly prizes!
Someone can correct me if I am wrong but I think it was only in June that Curly posted in Racecaller what the revised prizes would be.
Yes you are quite correct. Lets hope they don't want those points back too! Pigsback league still on racecaller though.essex girl in exile0 -

I wrote back to Curly last evening with the following as they do not intend to pay out the July prizes.
"The Racecaller offer may well have an expiry date at some time, unfortunately Pigsback have not informed anyone when it expires!
On Racecaller site on 2ndJune Curly posted:-
"From the start of June the following prize structure will exist on the Pigsback League on Racecaller:
1st Place: 1,000 PiggyPoints
2nd Place: 900 PiggyPoints
3rd Place: 800 PiggyPoints
4th Place: 700 PiggyPoints
5th Place: 600 PiggyPoints
6th Place: 500 PiggyPoints
7th Place: 400 PiggyPoints
8th Place: 300 PiggyPoints
9th Place: 200 PiggyPoints
10th Place: 100 PiggyPoints
Each day the daily Top Tipster in the Pigsback League will receive 50 piggypoints."
This in effect is a written contract which has not been revoked in writing or otherwise, either on Pigsback or Racecaller.
Prizes for June were awarded in July, and I suggest that you should also honour the prizes won in July and those to be awarded in August.
If Pigsback is withdrawing their prizes they should make that announcement on both sites, thus cancelling the "contract."
I intend to contact the Top Ten in the July league to get them to pursue Curly too on this matter.

Curly has had a change of heart. He posted this on Racecaller today :-
"Nar, Piggypoints for July will be credited. A notice to all Pigsback members on Racecaller that August will be the final month that Piggypoints will be offered in the Pigsback League."
Well done Curly, have a lovely holiday weekend. :T0 -
