pay day loan I never had

Last month I decided to apply for a payday loan, yes I know stupid but I did, I applied to a couple who e-mailed me saying that I had to send in wage slips and bank statements, and 1 that was called pay day express that I never ended filling in on line all of my details, and decidede not to continue filling it in and not to apply, and I never heard from, except since appling to them all I have had e-mails everyday from numerous companied and phone calls from brokers offering me a loan, all of which I have either unsubscribed or told them no thank you not interested, then 2 days ago I received a letter from payday express saying that the payment due they have not been able to get? so I rang them and was told that on the 8th sept I applied for a pay day loan, of £200 and was allowed £160 which was paid into my account, and they want paying back, I have contacted my bank who have verified no such payment went into my account, and I am now getting 3 calls aday from this company, I have explained that I never had a loan from them, yet they have my number for my bank, they gave it to me on the phone to check account details I never gave it them, nor did I fill my bank details in on line, I quit before I got to that bit, they have my home phone number and my address, any advice on what to do,

next time they phone tell them that you wish to send them a copy of your bank statement showing that no such payment went into your account, and take it from there, good luck
