can any one tell me if the one account (the one that has everyone carrying their mortgage signs around with them) is as good as it seems. i have always been of the opinion that if it sounds too good to be true it probably is.
however their web site seems to indicate that i will be able to pay my mortgage off in about 9 years instead of 25.
need some sensible advise please.

Hi there,
to be honest you probably want to look at the sticky thread just above this one: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=471
I'm sure it's in there, but Offsets only become truly truly beneficial, if you have approx 30% of more in the outstanding balance as savings.
ie - £100,000 mortgage, but offset by £30,000 of savings.
