Has anyone used this? It's a site which is supposed to add cash to your kids savings accounts. You earn it by online shopping with their retailers.
Started to sign up but got cold feet when it asked for details of kids bank accounts.
Has anyone used it and made any cash:?

Has no one heard of this? A friend mentioned it to me she heard of it when she was buying stuff online for her new baby from Kiddicare.
Does anyone have an opinion on it?0 -
I did a bit of googling and, ignoring all the generic "this site is fantastic!" blogs, I found this link to a website that seems to be aimed at parents. The forums had someone ask a similar question to you, hope this helps a bit?

The Royal London Society for the Blind seems to have teamed up with kidstart too: http://www.rlsb.org.uk/Page.aspx?page=30C9E307-C825-48B8-843C-4D27649FD55E
Also, SAGA have a section about it on their website: http://www.saga.co.uk/money/managingyourmoney/kidstart.asp so it looks like a legitimate thing to me as far as I can tell.
Google "kidstart" and skip through the sites looking for ones you recognise, that will give you a better indication of if they are to be believed or not. For me, I don't think SAGA would promote something to rip off their customers.£2 Savers Club no.91 = ?? (unknown until full and counted)

Hello
I have an account with them, but to be honest I've never used it as the cashback is better on most other sites like quidco and there is nothing to stop you paying that money into your children's accounts instead of yours.0 -
Thanks for your replies - still unsure as to whether to join up though!!0

I saw your post as part of my research into KidStart...and thought that I would add my thoughts. My wife has been a member for a few months and she has already received one payment. It seems pretty solid and although I've used Quidco in the past for online shopping KidStart seems to offer savings at retailers that I can't find on Quidco (such as John Lewis) and also offers savings in the high street at places like house of fraser and jojo maman bebe.
I'm not complaining about free money for buying stuff we're already buying.0 -
I agree. I just joined it specifically because of JOhn Lewis - very rare to find them taking part in any cashback/points schemes, and we buy a lot of things online from them. Nice to find a way of adding to my kids' accounts, and I like that you can register your cards and use them at house of fraser etc on the high street and you get points from that too.0

They've got 5% back for kids onNursery products and Toys at Argos, which is very good, think I might join as that beats Quidco. Thanks OP, I'd never come across this website before.0
