Bare with me on this one.
Split up with my partner a year ago. I stupidly prior to the break up signed up for 2 pay monthly mobile phones in my name. Stupid I know but I didn't know how to say no to him - he made it all sound so good!
In a way it was a good thing, as the monthly bill came in a couple of months later and that's when I found out he had been cheating:mad:
!!!!!! left me with a £280 bill! He promised me the money but never recieved any! He said he had to pay his rent - he lived with his mother !!!!!! who was claiming!!
Anyway I ignored the letters for both phones (paid my bill then xmas got in the way etc) I know that's no excuse.
Finally one day last week, I decided to open the mail after 5 months  wrote to moorcrap with offer of payment requested payment book to get the ball rolling!
Finally feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I also have littlewoods and empire and at one point both were costing me £120 per month each! Have now worked out that both will be paid off by middle of November:T
Have a rather large provident loan
but hopefully by September next year both of these will be repaid a few months before the end!
Bank loan ends in October 2011 and 3rd of November 2011 is HOPEFULLY my debt free date:D
It's funny how we all do the same, hide when the postie arrives and how we can judge what is in the envelope just by looking at it and the font. Have been on this site a while and although I mostly post in the arms I do come on here for advice and I have learned alot through this site. It's nice to see that your not the only one in this position and 9 times out of 10 no one judges you because you have hid from the financial truth.
My family don't know the extent of my debts (I'm a single parent) and I wouldn't want them too either so this site really has kept me from going under.
