About time too.
Do you know that most Councils employ people to tell youngsters which benefit they can claim & how to exploit housing grants but not teach them any financial responsibility.? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh my, I never knew that!!
While I do agree that people who are entitled to benefits should claim them, I would rather see soem of the money spent helping to put them off life on benefits, show them the stark reality of it compared to life with a salary.Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

I wouldn't hold your breath as they are also supposed to get a minimum amount of PE every week and most schools are only delivering about half of it.0

"The group will include representatives from the financial services industry"
I wonder who they will be. Surely not going to let insurance salesmen, otherwise known as "financial advisers" be involved.
Even worse they might involve those people from the FSA who failed to prevent the banking crisis.
This does not bode well for Scottish education.0
