Dont know what i am going to do

Hello everyone,

im sure there are many people in the same situation but i really dont know what I am going to do. Im really stuggling to pay the bills, im not spending money on clothes, gifts etc just trying to pay the bills. And now i face possibly being made redundant by christmas. I only have a small amount of debt but it is increasing every month and I am so worried, i dont want it to get out of control.

I have no idea what i wil do if im made redundant. I will loose everything.

Hi jolouise.

Try not to panic - I know its not easy when you feel like you are falling further into a debt hole.
I hope you don't get made redundant but if the worse happens then they key thing I think is not to ignore your debts but to keep your creditors informed as to what is happening.

Then you need to look and see if there are any areas you can save money or reduce spending. Some people on here are really good at spotting where you can save money by switching providers etc.
If you still can't meet your monthly payments, without your debts increasing each month then you need to talk to one of the free debt advice organisations - http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/loans/debt-help-plan#help who will advise you on a way forward.

Martin has a saying that there is no debt problem that cannot be solved - and he's right- there is a solution out there for you.

Hang in there Jolouise xxx it is such a frightening time for so many people, but worrying doesn't help (says she the queen of worrying) Listen to Tixy's advice and look for ways to cut back (depressing at first but later very satistifying!)

You could also look for extra ways to make money specifically to pay off the debts? Ebay? a second job?
