Ann Summers party plan Hints and tips!

Hiya all!:D

Im an Ann Summers party organiser and have started this thread so any other party organisers/unit organisers can share tips and discuss the world of Ann summers party plan!

i notice that we have v helpful threads for the body shop and avon and party lite so i think we need one for ann summers too!

So i'll get the ball rolling! are there any other organisers out there in the world of mse?!:p

Hey db - I've been thinking of joining Ann Summers parties. I love their products and know quite a bit about them. ;-)

Would you mind telling me a bit about how you got started, and what the typical life of an Ann Summers Party Girl is like!

hiya Glittergal!

well youve got a great headstart then!:p

getting started is easy, you can apply via ann summers website however this is the slow option! or you can contact your nearest unit organiser and she can sign you up! i can help you with that, it depends on where you live! then i can find out whos nearest to you contact them then they'll get in contact with you.

she'll then come to your house (or you go to hers!) and she explain everything you want to know about ann summers and if your happy and want to join and be a po (party organiser) she'll sign you up there and then. about a week to ten days from this day you'll recieve your kit.
which is more than £500 worth of ann summers products. lingerie,toys,nightwear, all the stationary you need to 'do' your first parties!

as soon as youve got your kit you can start doing parties, they like you to book as many as you can into the first 4-6 weeks of recieving your kit, but i wouldnt worry too much about this, just get as many friends and family that will have a party for you! it doesnt cost them anything, just try and make them think its just having a get together!

i love working with ann summers, im currently working 24 hours a week in an opticians and i have a son who is starting school in january and i want to have a flexible 'job' when he starts, so i can leave my day job. (which i cannot wait to do!!)

there are many perks and prizes you get with working with ann summers, you do get lots of recognition which i dont get in my day job!

hey i was just wondering.. i've just joined ann summers as a party orginiser i've been to a party before but other than that am at a complete loss as what to do now can you help please? i could really do with some help to get started =[

Also do you have to pay anything up front? what kind of things do you do in the party? do you need to know all about the products? how do you get people to hold parties outside of your friends and family etc.

I'm interested in becoming a PO as well, I don't know anybody where I live so am thinking it'll be a great way to earn money and meet new people, as the latter is impossible in my job (I'm a nanny, very lonely life!)

Is there a cost upfront? How do you advertise?

i know about the kit as mines coming though on Monday and know about the training am on about the other side how can i encourage people to book a party i just dont know how to advertise properly and help in things i can do in the partys for example raffles and that what would be a good prize? etc

Thats the sort of thing the person who signed you up should be telling you.:D
