This sounds very much like the problems my son has, and I have seen some of your other posts but i wanted to stay try and stick with it.
My son is supposed to do 4 or 5 x 8 hour shifts a week, but they chop and change often at a few hours notice, he asked whether he might have an occasional Saturday off so he can see his gf, and after asking he suddenly finds he is scheduled for two shifts every week end and often almost back to back so he can't get more than a few hours off. He once had to cover a second 8 hour shift as the new person failed to turn up..so he didn't 16 hours without a break. They also call him in for extra part shifts so two weeks ago for instance he worked part shifts every day for almost 3 weeks and couldn't see his gf at all. All this for minimum wage!
It is not good and in an ideal world he would be complaining right left and centre, but as a realist I've suggested he tries to stick with it for a good year just to get his CV to look better.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
