Pork Joint in SC

hello
Ive got a pork joint, was thinking of putting in SC instead of usual roasting, can any help with suggestions as what to put in with it? and does the pork joints come out ok in SC?

pork is lovely in a slow cooker
cook it on it's own as a roast or add apples and potatos and a glass of cider0 -
The Cider/apple option would probably be my first choice too, but if you'd like some more ideas check out this link. The first few recipies seem to be for chops, but as you scroll down there are recipies for joints.
