from Barclays with their personal apologies.
Much as they are beautiful, it has confused me a bit. I ask for charges back and they send me flowers.

I always wondered what they did with their huge profits - now I know! You must be one of their best customers that they want to keep coz I never got anything like that when I was with them!Experience is the toughest teacher because she gives the test first then the lesson

I've never heard of anything like this before:rotfl:
Send them a thank you letter for the flowers but point out the clock is still ticking on your claim:rotfl:0 -
They probably hired a pysochologist to tell them that sending out flowers would placate their customers and then some of them would not want to pursue them right to the bitter end.
Or, you can imagine a board meeting where the decision was made to send them out....probably along the same lines as above.
A waste of their money if everyone sticks to their guns!

LOL broken hearted - that is brilliant. Perhaps they are trying to guilt you into stopping your court action or it may be bribery but Im sure they will have to try a bit harder if it is:cool: Official DFW Nerd Club Member #37 Debt free Feb 07 :cool:0

It's a standard bank thing used to placate customers.
They have a list of gifts with a certain company from wine, flowers, chocs to pens, decanters etc...... they usually stick with flowers as some people complain if they are sent alcohol (alcoholics etc).
If a customer is particularly miffed and the bank feel that the customer is going to be a tricky one then the manager okays a gift. They are usually sent out with a letter that states at some point that the gift is 'without prejudice' which means "we're not admitting that we're wrong by sending you these!"
Get back to them, say thank you for the flowers but that your complaint hasn't been resolved and you are still expecting to hear from them regarding XXXX.Just run, run and keep on running!0
