Hi Folks
Son moved in with me a few months ago and im still trying to get them to close the case down even tho i cancelled the csa direct debits after id told them at the time.
Just looked through my files and have noticed that the last review was done by the csa in Feb 1997. Ive been paying the same amount since then and havent missed a payment. As my ex and i didnt want to get the csa involved at the first place, neither of us have asked for a review and just wanted them to get out lives. Now that theyre hopefully closing the case can they do a reassessment for 1999 which was due at the time they went from 104 week reviews to reviews only when either pwc or nrp asked for one.
Any advice is appreciated.

No, it is too late to get any review done - it should have been requested at the time.0

hi kellogs thanx for getting back to me. the reason im asking is because the status quo has suited myself and my x. my worry is that some case officer on doing the final checks to close the account will notice the 99 review wasnt done, backdate it to to 99 and then sting me for 10 years worth of arrears. john0

Ah, that may be different then - if the info was requested back in 99 then it may be done and indeed backdated. What were the circumstances surrounding the review? I'm sure that if this is a private case, the PWC can request that the review doesn't take place, and you the same if you asked for it.0

i think im wording this wrong. neither my x or myself can remember receiving anything about a review in 1999. the reason i say 99, is because at the time i thought the reviews were meant to be 2 yearly, ie my last review was done in 1997 so thinking now perhaps i should have got 1 in 99. also neither of us requested one in 1999 as she usually calls me to say shes got something through the post. making a hash of this.0 -
Have PMd you back - it is therefore unlikely that they ever did a review in 99 then - unless they requested info from you, they won't have done one or have one to do.0

have pm'd you. sorry for all the questions. just trying to get some piece of mind.0
