Just a word of warning about Dabs.com. You can't contact them by phone!!! I ordered something off them which I want to return as I believe it to have been misadvertised... but 36 hours later they still have not replied to any of the emails I have sent (including a proper return application). I wish I had never even heard of them!

Learn from the mistakes of others - you won't live long enough to make them all yourself.
  • But you can take the Dabs one into the bath tub... : P

Can anyone point me towards a waterproof computer to go with it please?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Because it is really important for USB sticks to be waterproof

Yep, I keep my stick on a bunch of keys, what happens if I drop them in a puddle while walking to the car, :p

    Dabs

I will never ever ever ever use Dabs again!! A very very bad experience with them. Eventually involved credit card company and trading standards

    My advice, AVOID!!

I suppose if you accidentally put the thing through the washing machine it might just survive...and be very clean.:D

bewarned though, the paper clip is actually this big:

only joking :) Although i do think its a "large" paperclip as opposed to the small ones one would relate to for a paper clip.
If i had a spare £24 i would buy this, the amount of times i've put my USB Stick in my jeans pocket and forgot it was there is scary!

I have been known to accidentally put a normal usb stick through the washing machine, with fortunately no ill effects! Actually it also came from dabs but certainly didn't make any claims to be waterproof. Personally never had any problems with dabs, but then maybe have been fortunate in that I can't remember ever having anything that has needed to go back..
