    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    I've got enough bells, pom poms,eyes and pipe cleaners to make 50 reindeers! whoops! :rolleyes: it worked out cheaper in the long run to do it that way.
    I only have about 8 people to make them for. if i stick the rest back on ebay i can make some money back or keep them and make some next year and the year after that and probably the year after that! hey i could start a tradition!! :rotfl:

    Right- I have now got all the materials I need- just need to sort out my handmade bars of soap and away we go! Had a trial run of folding a flannel today and it seemed ok. So all, I need to do is sort out the soaps! :)

    For anyone in the West Midlands - Wolverhampton area, I've just been to Hooty's (Willenhall) and picked up pom poms (mixed colours but loads of red ones suitable for reindeer noses) and bells (various sizes - silver & gold) for 79p each - I'll post pics tomorrow for you to see. They have loads of craft items there and at (imho) really good prices.

    I'm so excited at the prospect of making a lot of the crafty things I've seen on this thread - these gorgeous reindeers included!!

    I did these reindeers with my Brownies last year, and the kids loved them. they are soooo easy to make and they look fab (even when a 7yr old makes it :rotfl:), I also made flannel yule logs for some of my friends which were really effective.

    When I first saw this thread I instantly thought about making them with our Brownies. After reading your comment - its confirmed, these will be part of the christmas crafts this year.

  • Everyone loves this time of year,
    All the laughter and good cheer,
    A season that is full of hope,
    And a reindeer thats a flannel and a bar of soap.
