The bells are about quarter inch - they look great to me. How about holding a 5p piece and your pipecleaner over the screen to see how it looks?

  • With regards to the bells - it would depend what you plan to do with them. I have stuck the smaller ones onto the pipecleaners with double-sided tape but to be honest didn't work out too well as kept falling on. I have seen some lovely ones made with a bigger bell tied onto the ribbon.

As for the googly eyes I find the ones from Wilkos quite cheap (in with kids craft section) 70p for a bag - although half of them maybe too big.

Would 8mm be big enough? Or would THESE be big enough? They seem like a good price but look very tiny next to that 5p!
gosh, I am dumb sometimes:rolleyes: I just read the listing carefuuly and it does say they are about 6mm, so I have got a ruler out and had a look and that looks about right for attaching onto a pipecleaner.
I have just bought them- 100 for £1.99. They are coming from Thailand so hopefully they will get here before christmas! :rotfl:I may even ebay the surplus afterwards. get a few pennies back :D

    Total cost currently= £3.74
    cost per reindeer (henceforth CPR!)=37.4p
